Horror film

these sorts of films are based mainly on suspense. They can be both gory films (with lots of blood est.) or they can be ghost/monster and murder based.

·         Legends or myths

·          Murder

·         Super natural

·         Fear

·         Suspense

·         Medical (e.g. gory and blood)

Melodrama

This is a type of emotional drama and It generally exaggerates emotions.

·        Emotional consequences

·        Death

·         Has stereotypical characters
