The animatics story board is a useful part of planning the film. It shows us what shot we are going to use and in what order we are going to use them. We created this in class, as a short animatic plan of what we wanted to try and do in our film. We didn’t add background music to ours and wasn’t sure when to start building the suspense. However after we finished the filming of the animatics and viewed it all put together we roughly knew were we could put the beginning of our music.

When we where put the clips together we were able to familiarise ourselves with the software we would be using for our actual film. This also meant we could test our editing skills fervour. 

  

Strengths – I think our accuracy on what we wanted to film was very good. I think this because we showed every shot we wanted to use. The thing I also we did well everything was in the order that we wanted it to be in and that gave us a clear idea of what we needed.

Weaknesses – I feel we really should of added music to this video to really test how it would of worked in the animatics. Its a shame we couldn’t of added it in but it was defiantly a teachable moment for us. I also felt the camera work was a little shaken something I’m hoping to work on in the real video.
